First things first, an estimate will be completed. We will open up your entire system to get an accurate idea of the state of the system and what the exhaust hood cleaning will require. We will then take time to discuss any issues that may deal with code/insurance compliance and give a detailed breakdown of service options. Options for se
First things first, an estimate will be completed. We will open up your entire system to get an accurate idea of the state of the system and what the exhaust hood cleaning will require. We will then take time to discuss any issues that may deal with code/insurance compliance and give a detailed breakdown of service options. Options for service include things like before/after pictures, filter cleaning service, grease containment service and automatic fan belt service. Once a price is given and agreed upon, we then go to scheduling the service. We find out logistics such as kitchen access and roof access as well as entry/exit procedures and from there its smooth sailing.

Once a service agreement is in place and a date/time is set, we get to work. First, taking care to treat your kitchen as if it were our own, we cover anything that could be contacted by our cleaning process with plastic and all of your cooking equipment with heat shielding tarps. Once a service agreement is in place and a date/time is set, we get to work. First, taking care to treat your kitchen as if it were our own, we cover anything that could be contacted by our cleaning process with plastic and all of your cooking equipment with heat shielding tarps. Next we install a plastic funnel around the hood canopy to contain all water and greasy discharge into a catch basin. This basin is routed to a drain to discharge water only. All heavy grease is contained in the basin with a poly filter thus eliminating any grease from being put down your drains from the hood cleaning. Once the steam clean is complete we do a full polish of the outside of the canopy and the back wall from the filter trough down to the equipment. A new certification label is applied, we clean any overspray or work areas, then mop all floors that we walked across leaving your kitchen in the best shape possible!
